Asphalt Gages
Two gages for embedment in asphalt are available; the PMFLS and KM-100HAS. The PMFLS gage is intended for short term measurement where theramlly induced zero drift isn't an issue. It is a 3-wire quarter bridge. The KM-100HAS is intended for long term measurement where zero drift due to thermal effects is important. It is a full bridge strain transducer having the same technology as our concrete embedment gages. Both gages are capable of surviving up to 200˚ C during pavement laydown.
