AWM -196˚ ~  +300 ˚C Quarter bridge 3-wire Fully encapsulated sensing element.  High temperature cable to clear hot zone.
AWMD -196˚ ~  +800 ˚C (dynamic) Active and dummy gage combined with completion resistors to form full bridge For dynamic use only. Fully encapsulated sensing element.  High temperature cable to clear hot zone.  High pass filter board down cable from hot zone.
AWH -196˚ ~  +600 ˚C     (static)
-196˚ ~  +650 ˚C (dynamic)
Active and dummy gage combined with completion resistors to form full bridge. Fully encapsulated sensing element.  High temperature cable to clear hot zone.  Circuit board with completion resistors down cable from hot zone.
AWHU -196˚ ~  +800 ˚C Active and dummy gage combined with completion resistors to form full bridge Fully encapsulated sensing element.  High temperature cable to clear hot zone.  Circuit board with completion resistors down cable from hot zone.

Weldable strain gages are an alternative to glue-downs  when working with weldable materials like steel.  They of course require a suitable welder for installation, but offer much higher temperature ranges, greater resiliency against water intrusion and are generally more robust. However, spec'ing  a weldable involves more choices.  Click on one of the gage series in the table below to explore which gage is best suited to your application.
